Concrete Mix Materials Calculator
Estimates each material by the volumetric method: enter the pour volume and mix ratio (e.g. 1:2:4) to get cement bags, sand, aggregate and mixing water. Dry volume factor 1.54.

METHOD
Volumetric method: dry volume
Vdry = Vwet × 1.54; each material volume is apportioned by its parts in the mix ratio; cement mass uses a density of 1440 kg/m³ and water demand is W = (W/C) × mcement.- Nominal volumetric ratios (1:2:4 and similar) are traditional empirical mixes, suitable only for general work and estimating.
- Structural concrete with strength and durability requirements must be proportioned by mix design testing (e.g. ACI 211 or the applicable national code) — nominal ratios cannot be applied directly.
- The dry volume factor of 1.54 depends on sand moisture content and aggregate grading; it is a common approximation only.
